European Government Scholarships Available to Non-EU Students

Holland Scholarships to Non-EU/EEA Student (Netherlands).

The Holland Scholarship, which is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, was created for international students who are not from the European Economic Area (EEA), and want to study at one of the Dutch research universities or universities of applied sciences in Holland. The scholarship is worth EUR5,000

Danish Government Scholarships for Non-EU/EEA Students (Denmark)

The Danish Ministry of Education offers a number of scholarships each year to highly qualified, motivated international students who are not from the EU/EEA and wish to study full-time at Danish universities. You may be eligible for partial or full tuition waivers, and/or grants to cover your living expenses.

European University Scholarships Available to Non-EU Students

Leiden University Excellence scholarships (Netherlands).

Leiden University Excellence Scholarship Programme is available to exceptional non-EU/EEA students pursuing any MA or MSc programme at Leiden University. These scholarships are in the form: EUR10,000 tuition fee, EUR15,000 tuition fee or the total tuition fee less the home fee.

University of Maastricht High Potential Scholarships (Netherlands)

Maastricht University (UM), offers the UM high potential scholarships to talented students outside of the EEA. These scholarships allow them to participate in a UM master’s program or graduate programme for professionals. These scholarships pay tuition fees, monthly living expenses, insurance and visa costs.

Radboud University Scholarship Program (Netherlands).

A select group of potential non-EEA students can apply for the Radboud Scholarship Programme. This program provides a scholarship that will allow them to study a full English-taught master’s degree at Radboud University Nijmegen. A partial tuition waiver is available. This means that the tuition fee for EEA students will not be charged. The Radboud Scholarship covers visa, residence permit, and liability insurance costs.

Lund University Scholarships for Non EU/EEA Students (Sweden).

The Lund University Global Scholarship program is for top academic students from countries outside of the EU/EEA and Switzerland who are pursuing a Masters Degree Program at the University. Scholarships may pay 25%, 50% or 75% of tuition fees. The living expenses are not covered.

Chalmers IPOET Scholarships (Sweden)

Prospective fee-paying students outside the EU/EEA will be eligible for around 50 IPOET Scholarships from Chalmers. These scholarships can be used to fund any Masters Degree Program offered by the University. This scholarship provides a 75% discount on tuition fees for four semesters (two-year program).

Uppsala University’s Global Scholarships (Sweden).

Uppsala University offers Uppsala University Global Scholarships for first-year applicants from countries outside of the EU/EEA. These scholarships are available to those who want to study a Master’s degree programme offered by the University. The tuition fee is covered by the scholarship.

KTH Scholarships (Sweden)

For citizens of non-EU/EEA/EFTA nations who have to pay tuition fees but who have applied for a Master’s program at KTH, a limited number will be eligible for tuition fee waivers. The tuition fee for the entire duration of the scholarship will be waived if the applicant is granted.

Emile Botmy Scholarships for International Students France

Sciences Po established the Emile Boutmy Scholarships in honor of its founder to attract top international students from other countries. These scholarships were created to help first-time applicants who have been admitted to a University Undergraduate or Master’s program. There are many types of scholarships available. They can range from EUR5,000 to EUR10,000 to cover 2 years of postgraduate studies, or EUR3,000 to EUR12,000.300 to cover 3 years of undergraduate education.

University of Oulu International Scholars Finland

The University of Oulu International Scholarship Scheme offers scholarships to international students who are academically gifted and studying at the University of Oulu. Scholarships will be awarded in the form of tuition fee waivers covering 50%, 75% or 100%.
